Well, Valentine’s Day is here again. It’s the most polarizing holiday of the year, don’t you think? Some people really love it, some people hate it, and yeah, there’s some people in the middle who don’t care, but whatever. Get it Together Tuesday: Mistress in the Making

This is the shameless plug blog.  I have a new story coming out tomorrow. “Mistress in the Making” will be available from Ellora’s Cave. I’m very excited for you to read this story; it is one of my favorite things I’ve written.

In it, eldest sister, Charlotte makes some tough and sometimes stupid decisions in her attempt to help her family. So let me ask you, what are some stupid things you’ve done for love? C’mon, you know you’ve done them. Fess up.  I’ll go first.

My stupid thing was that I didn’t study abroad my junior year of college. I’d been dating my guy for 2 years, and it seemed too devastating to leave for 6 months. We told ourselves we’d travel when we married.

We did eventually get married (still are), and we have traveled internationally, but it is a totally different experience than living in a foreign country on your own for several months. I definitely regret not going. Our relationship was strong enough to withstand the time apart. And I’ll never be 20 with no children again. What about you? Ever do anything stupid in the name of love?
